California born, but schooled and trained Utah, Samuel DuPratt spent six seasons with the Park City Ski Team before skipping the U.S. Development rung completely and landing on the U.S. Ski Team for the 2014 season.

In 2013 a pair of early season NorAm top 10's rolled directly into an invitation to the Junior World Championships, where DuPratt put down an impressive 13th place performance in the super G during incredibly challenging conditions. But he wasn't done there. After piling on even more solid NorAm results, he finished the season ranked top 15 in both downhill and super G and then sliced to 12th in the Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships super G.

On snow from the time he could walk, DuPratt fine-tuned things for six seasons with the Park City Ski Team and then got an invitation to join the National Development System Western Region Men's Europe Competition Project. After spending two weeks training and racing in Italy and Switzerland, he finished the 2013 season incredibly strong and quickly qualified for the U.S. Alpine C Team.

DuPratt has been known to watch some "West Philadelphia born and raised…" reruns in between rounds on the golf course while listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. But if you ask him directly, he'll tell you life is all about hunting and waterskiing.
