2011-12 Alpine Points List Dates
Alpine Points InformationTo assure that your membership is processed for inclusion on any list, your membership materials must be received by USSA at least seven days prior to a closing date. Registrations are not considered received until they are complete. It is the athlete’s responsibility to ensure that his or her USSA membership registration is received; you can contact USSA member services (435.647.2666) to check the status of your application. USSA and FIS points are not continually being updated; they are recalculated for each new list. For more information on how points are calculated, see chapter 2 of your USSA Alpine Competition Guide. Closing and Valid dates for the points list are listed above. This page provides access to download USSA and FIS points lists, as links to files on the ftp site. These files require either proprietary scoring software for use or third-part software applications for unzipping or viewing. If you are using the files in approved scoring software, the software will open and extract the information you need. If you want to view the data in another application (i.e. Excel) you will first need to "unzip" the file. We suggest 7-Zip, which you can download by clicking here. Some of the files require the use of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. To save files to your computer, depending upon your webbrowser, you should do one of the following:
In either case, be sure to note where you saved the file to on your computer. More information regarding the points list, including closing and valid dates, can be found above, or in Chapter 2 of your USSA Alpine Competition Guide, which can be found here.
